I found this poem and thought it appropriate.
In My Heart
I thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new.
I thought about you yesterday, and days before that too.
I think of you in silence. I often speak your name.
Now all I have is memories, and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is my keepsake, with which I’ll never part.
God has you in his keeping.
I have you in my heart.

Thinking of you. I lost a cat that doubled as my best buddy about 6 years ago and still find it hard to talk about.
I just showed Violet all the photos and she oohed and awed and said, "look at that perfect smile!"
Be patient and kind and gentle with yourself, ok?

Ugh!! i am soo heartbroken for you.....you are in my thoughts. Gracie was a beautiful girl.
Gracie will always have a place in your heart and after some time, it won't hurt as much as it does today.
